Over the next few years, the historical communities of Bridgeton, Dalmarnock, Parkhead, Rutherglen and Shawfield will undergo massive change, with investment on a scale never seen before.
The construction of the five-mile extension of the M74 and another new road known as the East End Regeneration Route will make the Clyde Gateway area the best connected urban region in Scotland providing attractive opportunities for inward investment and business growth.
The hosting of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow also brings significant investment in new sports facilities, Rail links and Stations as well as the Athletes Village at the heart of the community. The plans for the area strive to develop a superb mixture of residential, commercial, leisure and retail space within the Clyde Gateway boundary which expands to 840 hectares (2075 acres).
Clyde Gateway has a number of property related projects presently underway offering opportunities for businesses to relocate their operation to the Clyde Gateway area. With future pipeline development there is an abundance of opportunities to relocate to a highly strategically located urban area.
